From the moment we stepped inside, we were embraced by the warmest welcome from the fantastic bar staff. The atmosphere is electric, with an incredible mix of friendly locals and visitors creating an unforgettable vibe. The entertainment here is second to none - the performers had us captivated! As out-of-towners, we felt right at home among the fun-loving crowd. It's rare to find a place that nails every aspect of a great night out, but Friends Tavern does it effortlessly. We're already planning our next trip back to the city, and you can bet Friends Tavern will be at the top of our must-visit list. If you're looking for an amazing time with great people, look no further. This place is an absolute must-visit!

I went to this place back in my early 20s when I was finding myself lol and hadn’t been back in years... when I came back this place has truly become a vibe and literally cannot stay away for more than a week!! I love Latinos and I love Latin music and you will find plenty of both at this establishment! My favorite and the best server is Gerson and he is always attentive to my wants and hookah is also phenomenal! Definitely a place you should go if you like Latinos, Latin music, and hookah.

I fell in love with Friends Tavern again after such a long time without going and seeing the renovation, it was luxurious. The service, as always, is incomparable to any other bar. 10 years ago, it was my first place that I visited. The waiter John served me and it made me happy to see him again, always with his good service and his smile to attend to what is missing in the bars in the area. Many successes, Friends Tavern 10/10. First time here, went feeling somewhat depressed and, subsequently, three margaritas served by a beautiful bartender remarkably improved everything. I guess you could say he mixed more than just drinks - he mixed a mean mood-booster! He certainly deserved a substantial tip. Who would have thought that amidst busy streets, one would find a place like this? Thanks. I will surely return.

Friend’s is a great spot for Latin music. There is Latin music for everyone and the atmosphere is nice. Gerson, the server, makes Friend’s ever better with his service. He is incredible and kind and always is helpful and cheerful!

Stopped in for the first time over the weekend and the staff made me and my best friend feel very welcomed and very safe. We enjoyed the frozen margaritas (careful, they can be dangerous in a good way!) and the service was absolutely on point. And at 10 each, the price was right for what we got and it didn't break the bank. Will be back again!

Easily one of the most welcoming and fun bars in NY. The music, the performers, and the parties are all . What makes this bar stand out the most is how amazing the staff is. The security, the bartenders, the waiters, and even the manager walking the room all go out of their way to make people feel welcome. John, especially, goes above and beyond to take care of the customers and make sure they have everything they need. Even in a packed room full of customers, the drinks are always full, the hookah is always hot, and the party is always on. With service like that, it's no wonder people come from all over the city (and further) to party at this bar.
